In this post, we’ll briefly cover some of the different identity pieces and visual upgrades we're examining to provide some first glance looks and context of the work-in-progress concepts for feedback and direction from you. As such, we’re in the concept and design phase for what the next generation of your personalization could look like. That being said, we’ve come to the point where current Progression Identity options are not adequately representing all the elements of a League of Legends experience and what makes League special to every type of player. In addition to that, we want you to be able to clearly select elements that match your play preferences without jumping through hoops to do so. With the intent to add more Progression Identity elements in the future to better show off who you are, it’s essential that each unique item we add fits with the intended League of Legends style and meet our visual quality bars for both fantasy and clarity. It's a lot! We bucket all these different ways into something we call "Progression Identity." In League, there are a variety of ways to show off who you are as a player: play style, role identity, Summoner Icons, Summoner Name, Prestige Level (border), rank, favorite champion, etc. Cody “Riot Codebear” Germain back again with some details on identity and customization explorations we’re looking at for later this year and beyond. REDDIT LEAGUE OF LEGENDS CUSTOM SKINS SKINNow, it just kind of looks like Trundle does a Blade of the Ruined King effect, but potentially Riot could make the skin give this more of a raging, beast who gets tankier with the stolen resistances from his prey. What’s up, everyone. I think this would be a perfect skin that could really give more flavor to a visually underwhelming ability, his R – Subjugate. REDDIT LEAGUE OF LEGENDS CUSTOM SKINS FULLOlaf, with his R – Ragnarok, would fit this theme perfectly as he goes into full Rageborn mode. I think this could definitely have potential as a sort of Hulking-out type of skin line where some champions go nuts. Mundo skin and propel it into a skin line of its own. This skin is really interesting as it’s an attempt to expand on the Rageborn Dr. It has a very “Umbrella Academy” feel to it. Battle Academia Wukongĭesperately in need of a skin, and I just love the idea of adding a non-human champion into the Battle Academia skin line. That said, I think Yi could work as an instructor in the Battle Academia theme as sort of that thin, stern, disciplinarian. Battle Academia Master YiĪlthough the idea is explicitly tied to the Battle Academy skin line that dropped earlier this season, the Battle Academia Yi skin seems to be a bit more geared towards a martial arts master theme than the anime school kids and teachers picks. Not only is he a master tactician (ala Lex Luthor or Baron Zeemo) he’s an undead, demonic creature who sucks souls from his enemies. Of all the champions in League of Legends, Swain is the one who I think best fits the supervillain moniker. On the opposite side, having superhero skins naturally opens the door for their opposite in villain skins. Just make sure to give him that red cape flapping behind him in the wind. Galio, with his R – Hero’s Entrance jumping into battle to save his teammates, would be a perfect addition. Superhero Galioīased slightly around the Super Teemo skin, this would be one of the first in a superhero-type skin line. I think that would really make the skin unique among the Officer skin line. One addition/change I would make to the concept is to make the ult a police car instead of a ram, complete with sirens. The skin would have Ornn spawn a traffic cone for his Q instead of the usual pillar and bash opponents with a Riot shield when he charges forward. This is one of the more fleshed-out design concepts and honestly, I was immediately blown away.
